What an exciting week!

Kelly Tarlton's

On Monday the Year One's had a wonderful trip to Kelly Tarlton's. The Central Idea for our new inquiry is 'Living things have needs in order to grow and stay healthy' This year we decided to look particularly at living things under the ocean.

Origami

This week we had some Japanese visitors from the senior school. They came and encouraged us to try origami. They were very patient with us!

Science - handling fish

Jodie, Scarlett's mum very kindly brought us a squid, snapper, salmon and baby octopus to handle and explore! Did you know that a squid has a beak like a parrot in its mouth? We found out quite a lot that we didn't know before!
