Book Week
What a great week we had at school last week with Book Week. The girls in 1FR love reading and listening to books being read to them. We had a special surprise guest visit the Year 1 girls to read to them and it was Nick, Miss Fava's brother! He read some very silly books that made us all laugh.
Then on Thursday we met the author of the silly books! His name was Mark Sommerset and he has
written the hilarious books Baa Baa Smart Sheep and the sequel I Love Lemonade.
Mark read us one of his newest stories called Two Little Bugs and he sung to us while he played the guitar!
He also let us in on a secret... He is writing a new book right now!
To finish off our amazing week we dressed up as our favourite book characters and led the parade around
the school. The girls (and Hamish) all looked incredible and had a wonderful time!
At 5 o'clock most of us raged at the disco! The Year 13 girls did a great job organising
a fun time for us. Here are just a few photos.
